Once you have signed in and done the literature count form, throw on your name tag and a vest and grab a counter. Name Tags and Counters: Can be found hanging on the back of the door in the office White Vests: Are hanging in the hallway, by the back door.
Counters: The Counters are used to count the number of people who come inside the visitor center. Every time someone comes inside you want to click that forward by the number of folks who come in and you interact with. You will report that at the end of your shift.
Open "Cage": The keys to the cage are located on the shelf that is second to the right, in a metal box. They have a yellow tag and are labeled "Cage."
When interacting with visitors use your resources: kiosk.lanesboro.com on touch-screen computer is your best friend when answering questions on a phone call.
Not sure what's open in the moment? You can use the posters on the bulletin board, or using the "Open Now" function on the Lanesboro App.
Answer Phones: Greeting the caller by identifying the organization and who you are. Example: "Thank you for calling the Lanesboro Visitors Center, my name is Rhonda, how can I help you?"
